Remove all the old screen adhesive

  • When removing the screen adhesive during this step, be very careful not to damage any of the fragile components near the perimeter of the frame.

  • Use a spudger to scrape up and remove all the old screen adhesive from the perimeter of the frame.

  • This will take some time as the adhesive can be tricky to remove. Work slowly and try to roll the adhesive onto itself.

  • Once you've removed all the old adhesive, use isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth to clean up the adhesive residue from the perimeter of the frame.

  • In order for the new adhesive to form a good bond, the frame needs to be completely clean of all adhesive and its residue.

  • Allow the frame to dry completely before continuing.

Quand vous retirez l'adhésif de l'écran pendant cette étape, veillez à ne pas endommager les composants fragiles situés près du périmètre du châssis.

Utilisez une spatule pour gratter et retirer tout l'adhésif de l'écran autour du châssis.

Cette opération peut prendre un certain temps, car l'adhésif peut être difficile à retirer. Progressez lentement et essayez de rouler l'adhésif sur lui-même.

Une fois que vous avez retiré tout l'adhésif, utilisez de l'alcool isopropylique et un chiffon en microfibre pour nettoyer les résidus d'adhésif sur le périmètre du châssis.

Afin que le nouvel adhésif adhère correctement, le châssis doit être entièrement nettoyé et exempt de tout résidu d'adhésif.

Laissez le châssis sécher complètement avant de continuer.
